It is Official! Toppermost is Michigan’s most POPULAR Beatles Tribute year after year with more than three times as many shows in Michigan than any other Beatles Tribute. Why? Simply because we recreate that energy and youthfulness of the Beatles better than the others. We also have the best vocals of any other Tribute in the state (possibly the country). War Machine is a full costume and make-up, musical tribute to 1970’s rock legends KISS. We feature all the energy, smoking guitars, fire breathing, and great music of the original band. Based out of Detroit Michigan, the band has been performing nationally for over 17 years. War Machine has performed all across America and Canada at Official KISS conventions and Expo’s. Over the years, the band members have played live on stage with six of the ten original members of the KISS band lineup. We have been the opening act for over 58 National bands such as Cheap Trick, Nazareth, Rainbow, Vince Neil of Motley Crue, and Dennis DeYoung of STYX. War Machine set several attendance records for clubs and festivals during the summers of 2012/13/14 seasons. The group finished out their 2014 summer by performing with coach Tom Izzo (dressed in a KISS costume) in front of 15,000 fans at the Michigan State University Breslin Center Arena. Video of the performance went viral and was seen nationwide on ESPN Sports, Huffington Post, USA Today, and College Sports Network. The band enjoys performing at a wide variety of venues including hotels, casinos, Hard Rock Cafe, corporate and private events, comic book/memorabilia conventions, major league sports half time shows, & opening day celebrations. We perform indoors or outdoors. We have even performed at two ‘Kiss’ theme weddings. Yes! A bride and groom in full Kiss makeup! In the summertime we specialize in outdoor festivals. War Machine is a unique tribute act that can advertise all four members sing and play their own instruments. Unlike our competitors, we do not perform to a backing soundtrack. The band is height proportionate to the real KISS, and three of us use our natural hair and do not have to wear a wig. The band also performs with authentic costume pieces purchased at rock memorabilia auctions, period correct guitars, drums and amplifiers. Our typical show can be up to 2 1/2 hours in length and contains hit songs from the span of KISS’ 40 year career. The show features a giant KISS illuminated sign, light up staircases, smoking guitar solo, rocket launcher guitar, fire breathing, special effects with fake blood, drum solo and bass guitar solos. We can offer limited pyro technic effects for venues which can support it. The band is not only limited to performing KISS songs. We are often requested to perform classic rock music by artists who have toured/worked with KISS over the years. We also enjoy performing songs that the females in the audience can dance too, and are often rewarded with great crowd participation. War Machine enjoys meeting their fans, and we are family and children friendly. We always do a ‘meet and greet’ and try to stay long enough so each and every person gets a photo with us in costume. We have FREE 11 x 17 posters and glow in the dark guitar picks for the children as well as adults (big kids) who would like to take something home to remember the show. War Machine can be seen on Nationally Syndicated Food Network ‘Man vs. Food’ cable TV show (Detroit Episode) and Retro Movie Channel ‘Wolfman Mac’s Horror Theatre’. War Machine has been featured in numerous newspaper, magazine, television and radio articles nationwide. Recently the band was featured in a full five minute spot on the morning show of Detroit’s Fox 2 TV news. The band was also commended as being one of the “Top Five Live acts in Detroit” 2014 by Metro Times Magazine. Kung Fu Diesel is 3 piece, 3 chord American Rock & Roll band born out of the swamps of Jackson, MI USA. These 3 childhood friends grew up, formed a band, and moved to New Orleans to get a music education by playing on any stage that would let them. The time they spent on the bayou allowed them to get some value stage time and develop a unique sound. Using their influences of Rock & Roll, Outlaw Country, Punk, and R&B they began writing songs. Shortly after returning to Michigan, they crossed paths with Ted Nugent and began opening shows for him. YGIC transports the audience on a musical tour through the soundtrack of their lives with outstanding musicianship and remarkable vocals. Concerts in Goudy Park in Downtown Wayne – Assembled by former members of several popular AC/DC tribute bands. This all-star cast is bringing the ultimate AC/DC tribute show to new heights with the most accurate recreation of the AC/DC music and stage show; second to none! The “DIRTY DEEDS” concert experience is truly extreme; featuring “two” high energy shows complete with exciting stage props and non stop action! The first show is a dedication to the Bon Scott era and the second show is a tribute to the Brian Johnson era! Show one begins with a dramatic entrance by our Angus Young character Freddy DeMarco, donning a full schoolboy uniform complete with smoke billowing out from an authentic leather school bag slung across his back! Before he even launches into the first number, Freddy builds suspense and excitement by working up the audience and challenging them to make as much noise as they possibly can! As DIRTY DEEDS proceeds to rifle through one iconic AC/DC hit after another, the action is non stop and the crowd is sure to be on their feet, moving to the beat and singing along with every song! The band looks like and re-creates the music and performance of AC/DC with an incredible Bon Scott look alike administering spot on perfection of Bon’s voice, and an Angus Young character played with the accuracy of the album versions showing all the crazy energy of a “young” Angus. And what would a tribute to the early years of AC/DC be without bagpipes! Yes that’s right, singer and Bon Scott impersonator John Welch will play the pipes to accurately reproduce the famous song “It’s A Long Way To The Top If you Want To Rock and Roll.” This fun filled first set is loaded with all the details to recreate an authentic AC/DC experience. The band members all take great pride in the portrayal of their respective characters by studying the look, the moves, the instruments, and the sound of their famous counter parts!
