Dr. Catherine Cost as
Interim Superintendent

During a meeting on Wednesday,
June 25th, the Board of Education
appointed Dr. Catherine Cost to
serve as Interim Superintendent.
Dr. Cost has spent her career in
public education, starting as a
teacher and principal, then serving
as the superintendent for Wyandotte
Public Schools for just under nine
years, and the assistant superinten-
dent at Farmington Public Schools
for eight years prior to that.
Dr. Cost earned her bachelor’s de-
gree from the University of Michigan,
her master’s from Oakland Univer-
sity, and her doctorate from Wayne
