Recent ribbon cutting ceremonies in Wayne

The Mayor, City Council and Administration celebrated with the Dollar Tree employees at their ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, February 9th.

By Sarah Shurge – The City of Wayne is always excited to welcome new businesses to the community. We’d like to shout out a few local businesses that have had ribbon cutting ceremonies recently.
Dollar Tree had a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday, February 9th.
“It was nice to have a lot of people in the city and the city’s leaders come and give their support and a welcoming hand,” said Denisha Yancy, Dollar Tree store manager.

“It’s somewhere you can find all of the things you need for home, for $1.25 to five dollars,” said Yancy. “We’ve got food, home decor, toys, garden stuff, everything under the sun.”
