Wayne Memorial alumni, Anavia Battle, will represent the United States in the 2021
          Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

             Wayne  Memorial  alumni,  Ohio     Thomas won the race and broke
          State  sprinter,  and  Big  Ten  cham-  the meet record on Saturday with a
          pion,  Anavia  Battle,  will  represent  time  of  21.61  seconds.  Prandini
          the United States in the 2021 Sum-  came in second with a time of 21.89.

             Battle  qualified  for  the  U.S.  June 25th, Battle placed second with
          women’s Olympic team after placing  a time of 22.32 and she won the 1st
          third in the 200-meter dash on Sat-  Round  Heat  2  race  with  a  time  of
          urday,  June  26th,  with  a  time  of  22.37 on Thursday, June 24th.
          21.95 seconds.                        The  Olympics  will  begin  Friday,
             Also  representing  the  United  July 23rd, and end Sunday, August
          States  will  be  Gabby  Thomas  and  8th.
